Unique Ledger Structure

Multiple Purpose Ledger Setup
Parallel to the unique ledger structure, the SunSystems allows each business unit to establish multiple ledgers. Budget ledger, Consolidation ledger, Procurement ledger and etc. could be setup to cater for various business purposes.
Foreign Currency Conversion
The introduction of dual base currency and the advance design to support up to 5 currencies for each transaction provide an extremely flexible capability on your reporting for Multi-national Corporation.
Multi-Dimension Analysis
The implementation of analysis code provides a multi-dimensional view for management by attaching a different analysis code (e.g. Customers, Location, Weight, etc.) to every transaction. Tags will be assigned to each transaction across different analysis codes. Therefore, further analysis could be executed by evaluating the different characteristic of every transaction.
Corporate Allocation
The sophisticated Corporate Allocation module allows the allocation of cost for supportive departments/share functions to different profit centers to reflect the real cost and performance. Different drivers could be assigned according to the nature of the supporting departments. Activities Based Costing could be achieved by replicating the allocation process to product level. Suitable drivers could be used for the product level allocation. The driver is not limited to financial information. Non-financial information could also be imported to the SunSystems to deliver the most objective and reasonable allocation.
Expandability
Apart from the core financial management module, SunSystems is expandable to support other financial activities including Procurement, Debtor Management, Sales & Inventory and Project Accounting & Resource Management. At this same time, it could be inflated to integrate with the more advanced Infor Performance Management system to deliver a one-stop performance review system.
